Director: Rachel Haine-Schlagel, Ph.D.

Dr. Haine-Schlagel received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Arizona State University
and completed post-doctoral training in child mental health services research at the
Child & Adolescent Services Research Center (CASRC) through the University of California,
San Diego and Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. She is currently an investigator
at CASRC, as well as a licensed psychologist and certified trainer for an evidence-based engagement
intervention for child and family services. Prior to joining the CFD faculty, Dr.
Haine-Schlagel was an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Psychology
at San Diego State University. Her research focuses on understanding and promoting
