Located in the heart of downtown City Heights, CCCE is a non-profit community center providing low-cost counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in San Diego. CCCE is a counselor training facility operated by San Diego State University (SDSU) offering hands-on education for pre-licensed graduate students in the fields of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Community-based Counseling. Our counselors are supervised by licensed therapists and members of SDSU’s Counseling and School Psychology faculty.

License to Freedom is a non-profit, community based organization that promotes nonviolence through community education, self-sufficiency, and advocacy for refugee and immigrant survivors of domestic and relationship abuse in the East County and San Diego region.

We are a group of advocates that believe that every person has a right to live without fear. We believe that refugee and immigrant battered women and children should be able to seek and receive help and services that are respectful of our languages, cultures, race, age, sexual orientation, disabilities, and religious beliefs.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Veterans Village of San Diego provides confidential, high-quality therapy, and local referral support services to: post-9/11 veterans, service members*, National Guard and Reserves, and their family members, including spouse or partner, children, parents, siblings, caregivers and others. Care is available regardless of discharge status, role while in uniform, or combat experience. Insurance or ability to pay will never be a barrier to care.*TRICARE referral needed for active duty.

The mission of the Union of Pan Asian Communities is to improve the general well-being and education of the Asian, Pacific Islander and other ethnic communities of San Diego County. UPAC recognizes the diverse ethnic and cultural identities and strengths of these communities and their need for self-sufficiency. UPAC is a bridge among peoples of diverse cultures, languages, generations and socioeconomic backgrounds, particularly un-served and underserved API, Latino, East African, and Middle Eastern immigrant and refugee communities. Programs focus on mental health counseling, community engagement and business development, addiction treatment & recovery, housing counseling, health promotion and cultural competency education.
