Faculty in the Department of Educational Leadership (EDL) are involved in several centers and initiatives which provide opportunities for continuous leadership development:
National Center for the 21st Century Schoolhouse
Dr. Cynthia Uline is Director of The National Center for the 21st Century Schoolhouse which supports the planning, design, and construction of learner-centered school facilities through communication, research, and training.
National Center for Urban School Transformation (NCUST)
Dr. Francisco Escobedo is Executive Director of The National Center for Urban School Transformation. NCUST began in 2005 as a strategy to identify and study some of the nation’s most successful urban schools and continues today with a systematic approach for increasing the number of urban schools nationwide that achieve exceptional academic results.
The Department of Educational Leadership Department in conjunction with NCUST now offers the Clear Administrative Services Credential Program.
