FALL 2021 PROGRAMS STARTING SOON!
The SDSU Literacy Center is happy to offer face-to-face programs on Thursday afternoons this semester, beginning Thursday. October 14 and running through Thursday, December 9. (We will be closed Thursday, November 25 for Thanksgiving.) Our offerings include a small-group Community Reading Clinic session for children in grades 1-3 only, WRITE TO RISE, and virtual literacy support from Pre-College Institute Pathways tutors for children in grades K-8.
Safety precautions, including facial coverings, will be required of all instructors, parents, and children who enter our space - regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. Please see program dates and details below.

THURSDAY AFTERNOONS AT THE SDSU LITERACY CENTER
Small-group Community Reading Clinic (CRC) Sessions, Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm. We are offering the following small-group sessions this Fall between October 14 and December 9 (no classes November 25):
Grades 1-3 Small-group CRC Fall 2021 Application
Space in each CRC Small-group session is limited to 12 students. Our fee is $200 for this 8-class session. Financial aid is available on a limited basis. Please sign up with the application posted on "Our Offerings/Community Reading Clinic" tab above.
WRITE TO RISE, Thursday, 4:30-5:30pm. Our popular creative writing and book-making class will have a capacity of 10 students this fall and will run for a total of 8 sessions.
Our fee for WRITE TO RISE, which includes a printed book students get to take home at the end of the summer, is $175. Financial aid is available on a limited basis. Please sign up with the application posted on "Our Offerings/Enrichment Classes" tab above.
Virtual Tutoring Information COMING SOON!
ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS WILL not BE OFFERED face-to-face in FALL, 2021. INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS WITH CLINICIANS are scheduled to RESUME IN SPRING, 2022.
