Join us for a Family-Friendy Winter Craft Fair on Saturday, December 14th (10am-1pm)!

The SDSU Literacy Center is hosting a Family-Friendly Winter Craft Fair on Saturday, December 14th. Drop in any time between 10am and 1pm to make literacy-related holiday items, such as ornaments, beaded jewelry, bookmarks, and picture frames that you can take home and keep for yourself or give as gifts. Parents/guardians should accompany children to this event, which will include music, snacks, and drinks. Suggested donation: $5 per person (to support student scholarships.) Community Reading Clinic (CRC) To Return in Spring, 2020!

The SDSU Literacy Center is in the planning stages for a CRC that will run during the Spring, 2020 semester. We will offer individual and small-group sessions on Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons, beginning in early Feburary and ending in mid-April. Please join our mailing list for updates regarding our application deadline and program dates.

Write to Rise Offered This Fall

A fall session of WRITE TO RISE is running on Tuesday afternoons at the SDSU Literacy Center this fall, beginning September 24 and ending December 3. Session times are 4-5:15pm on Tuesdays only.

We Need School Partners

The SDSU Literacy Center is looking for school partners! If your school would like to host an after-school WRITE TO RISE program, please contact Dr. Sciurba ([email protected]). Student scholarships are available.

Financial Aid

Financial aid forms become available to all parents/guardians after their child(ren)'s acceptance into one of our programs.
