Department of Administration, Rehabilitation and Postsecondary Education
The Department of Administration, Rehabilitation and Postsecondary Education (ARPE) offers programs preparing graduate students to be future school administrators, rehabilitation counselors and postsecondary instructors and administrators. Administrative and leadership skills are developed through instruction, research and practical field experiences with a constant emphasis on the application of theory to practice. The Department also sponsors the SDSU Leadership Minor for undergraduate students.
Faculty Position Announcement
The Ed.D. Program in Community College Leadership (CCLEAD) seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member (Assistant or Associate Professor rank). Applicants must have an earned doctorate in higher education or a related degree by August, 2022.

New Chair Elected to Lead ARPE
Dr. Charles Degeneffe, professor in rehabilitation counseling, succeeds Dr. Caren Sax, who has chaired the department since 2008.
