HARMONY will recruit and graduate 12 - 15 school psychologists and school counselors committed to serving NAI youth. The number of new scholars accepted each year will vary depending on how many scholars continue year-to-year. In this section, find out more about our application process and financial support.
How to Apply
To apply to the Native American and Indigenous Scholars Collaborative, you must first be accepted into one of 2 graduate programs in the Department of Counseling and School Psychology:
Both programs are nationally approved and lead to professional credentials to work in public schools.
Application to these graduate programs will require readiness in personal, professional, and cross-cultural areas. Both of these programs — and the HARMONY Project — are demanding of heart, mind, time, and commitment.
Applying to HARMONY
All Native and Indigenous Scholars must first be accepted to one of the graduate programs, and then apply to the project.
Application to the Native American and Indigenous Scholars Collaborative requires the submission of the application form (below), resumé or vita, a personal statement regarding your potential as a Scholar, and an assurance statement regarding your relationship and commitments to Native American/
