Wendy Sandoval

Bio

Wendy brings over two decades of administrative expertise in higher education to her current role. Since 2016, she has been an integral part of San Diego State University's Department of Dual Language & English Learner Education (DLE), following her tenure at the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences. Notably, Wendy was honored with the prestigious 2018 Presidential Staff Excellence Award for her innovative contributions.

Originally from Los Angeles, Wendy earned her Bachelor's in Apparel Design from California State University Northridge. Her proficiency in Spanish enriches her professional interactions. Beyond her career, Wendy indulges in hobbies such as watching movies, crafting activities, and exploring nature through hikes. However, her greatest joy stems from cherished moments spent with her family.
