Preliminary Credential Advising
We offer advising for admission to SDSU's Preliminary Teaching Credential programs in the following areas:
- Multiple Subject (Elementary, grades PreK-6)
- Single Subject (Middle/High School, grades 7-12)
- Bilingual Multiple and Single Subject
- Special Education (Mild/Moderate Support Needs, Extensive Support Needs, and Early Childhood)
Individual Virtual Advising
Virtual Advising Session (Asynchronous)
Watch from the comfort of your own home, at anytime you'd like. The presentation includes general information regarding application requirements for our Preliminary Credential programs.
Virtual Group Advising Session (Synchronous)
Group Advising sessions, which take place on evenings and weekends, give a general overview of our Preliminary Credential programs and admissions process. More information, as well as registration, can be found at the link above.
Clear Credential (Induction Program) Advising
We offer advising for Induction Programs to clear your credential in the following areas:
- Special Education (Clear Credential only)
- Special Education (Clear Credential & Master's Degree)
Induction Program Advising
These programs are for individuals who already hold a Preliminary Teaching Credential and need to earn the second credential in California, the Clear Credential.
