American Sign Language (ASL) classes meet the foreign language requirements for SDSU undergraduates.
Courses
Three lectures and one hour of discussion. American Sign Language structure, use, literature, and deaf culture. Introductory level communication competence in ASL. Not open to students with credit in Dual Language and English Learner Education 102 or 201.
Three lectures and one hour of discussion. Prerequisite: Dual Language and English Learner Education 101. Continuation of Dual Language and English Learner Education 101. Beginning level communication competence in American Sign Language. Not open to students with credit in Dual Language and English Learner Education 201. (Formerly numbered Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences 102.)
