Meet Our Peer Advising Team!

Callie Williams
(she/her)
Secretary and Social Media Coordinator
Hi! My name is Callie Williams. I am so excited to be here! I am a third year Psychology major with minors in Public Health & Counseling and Social Change. My future goals are to get my PhD in Clinical Psychology and open my own practice. I chose the CSC minor to help me achieve my goals by strengthening my interpersonal skills and to teach me about all the opportunities in the helping professions. I chose to be a peer advisor because of my genuine love for this program and the amazing opportunities it has given me. Some fun facts about me are that I also work at the ARC and I am from Anchorage, Alaska.

Mia Racine
(they/she)
Counseling and Social Change Club Liaison
Hello, my name is Mia Racine (they/she), and I am a fourth-year Psychology major with minors in Counseling and Social Change as well as Anthropology. I chose the CSC minor because I have a deep passion for both counseling and social justice and I have always wanted my future career to be in some sort of helping profession. Although I’m not totally sure where I will end up professionally, I’m extremely happy with the choice I’ve made now to pursue this minor as part of my undergraduate education and am excited to share with my peers why I love this program as their advisor.

Ruby Sawah
(she/her)
Data Analyst
Hello! My name is Ruby, and I’m a senior majoring in Sociology with minors in Counseling and Social Change and Religious Studies. As a transfer student, it’s my dream to become a community college counselor so that I can advise students on their educational plans and advocate for underrepresented communities. What I love about the Counseling and Social Change minor is that it allows students to gain graduate-level education and practice in their undergraduate studies. I chose to be a Peer Advisor because of my passion for providing guidance and support to students navigating their higher educational journeys.

Hannah Weitzman
(she/her)
Campus Outreach Coordinator
Hi there! My name is Hannah Weitzman (she/her) and I’ll be a junior for the 2026-2027 school year. I’m majoring in Child and Family Development and minoring in Counseling and Social Change! In the future, I’m hoping to be a marriage and family therapist, working with a diverse range of couples, children, and their loved ones. In deciding on my minor, I wanted to learn practical, hands-on skills that would truly benefit me and my clients. I chose to be a Peer Advisor for many reasons, but ultimately to help other students reach their goals and for myself to grow as an individual.

Ashley Staggs
(she/her)
Classroom Presentation Coordinator
Hi! My name is Ashley Staggs and I’ll be a senior this coming year. My major is in Psychology, and my minor is in Counseling and Social Change. I’m passionate about working in the helping field, especially in underserved communities, and one day I hope to be a clinical psychologist. This minor has not only has given me new perspectives to learn from but has allowed me to take part in meaningful conversations amongst my peers. Being a Peer Advisor allows me to give other students a glimpse of the special experience that I had.
