Bio

Beth Calarco is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a background in developmental psychology. Her work focuses on early intervention for children birth to three, informed by more than 25 years of experience in autism and early childhood services. She is the founder of ABAcus Behavioral Health, established in 2012 to provide high-quality applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to young children and their families throughout San Diego County.

Beth earned her M.A. in Developmental Psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology and assessment, from San Diego State University in 2003 and became a BCBA in 2005. Her professional experience spans the full continuum of ABA service delivery, including developmental and behavioral assessment, program design, direct intervention with infants and toddlers, parent coaching, and staff and teacher training.

Her work is grounded in developmental theory and an understanding of early developmental trajectories. She brings a practical, family-centered perspective to both her clinical and teaching work, with a particular focus on supporting caregivers and embedding evidence-based strategies into everyday routines during the earliest years of development.

Outside of work, Beth is the mother of two awesome teens and an aussiedoodle. She enjoys dancing, ocean swimming, and traveling.
